Okay finally I decided to write again..

first, i want to say happy lunar new year, i love lunnar new year, why? karena saya hidup di lingkungan yang banyak orang keturunan cina jadi imlek berarti saya kaya!!!

hmm, saya mau berbagi cerita saat ini saya sedang menjalani job cetak. dan job ini membuat mata saya terbuka kalo saya tidak mau jadi wartawan!! kenapa? karena menjadi wartawan merupakan tanggung jawab yang berat.

sekarang saya heran kenapa semua orang ingin jadi wartawan? apa karena kebanyakan superhero pekerjaan sampingannya wartawan? oke itu pemikiran yang aneh.. tapi serius menurut saya wartawan saat ini banyak yang meninggalkan kewajibannya sebagai pemenuh hak manusia.

saya ingat waktu budiono darsono memberikan semacam seminar tentang wartawan. dia bilang kalau saat ini semua orang bisa jadi wartawan jadi untuk apa belajar jurnalistik seperti saya saat ini. dulu kata-kata dia bikin saya down, dia benar semua orang bisa jadi wartawan tanpa harus kuliah jurnalistik. tapi saat ini saya tersadar setiap orang mungkin bisa jadi wartawan tapi apa semua orang bisa jadi wartawan yang baik? hmm let's think..

How to make redscale film

Redscale is a colour film technique whereby you reverse the direction of the emulsion in a film. Due to the way colour film works, you end up with high contrast photos that are very red, yellow, black tinged.

Below is a description of making a redscale film. It actually looks more complicated than it really is. I recommend reading through the instructions once before you first do it.

You'll need two 35mm colour films to do this (when you do it the very first time). I recommend finding some expired film somewhere for trying this out.

1. Let us start by naming one of our happy films 'A'. This is the film which will become the redscale film at the end.
2. Completely unspool film A. Just pull it all out.
3. Cut film A, leaving a small tab of tab of film sticking out of the canister. (Get an adult to help you with scissors if you have eye stabbing problems.)
4. Now we introduce film B, who is A's evil twin. Cut the leader off film B as shown.
5. Arrange film A and B as shown next to each other. Note that their emulsion sides are facing different ways - film B has the emulsion facing up (i.e. the lighter coloured side of the film), film A has emulsion facing down.
6. Take a piece of sticky tape, of the size shown in picture, and press both ends of the films against it, so that they are aligned.
7. Carefully fold over the sticky tape, tightly.
8. Do this part in either in a darkroom or a dark bag: Wind film canister A so that it takes up all the film from canister B.
9. Your films should now look like this.
10. Cut the film to separate the canisters. Note that if you cut in the right place, you can end up with another canister as in step 3, ready for making another redscale film with! (i.e. don't cut too close to canister B, leave a tab of film sticking out)
11. Now film A will seem odd and wrong because the film curls the wrong way. But it's all good.
12. Fashion yourself a film leader by cutting as per the dotted line in this picture. (I've already done it in this picture.)
13. And there you have it, a redscale film ready to shoot. Please remember to overexpose your film by a stop. You need to do this because the light has further to go to reach the emulsion (because it's facing the wrong way now).

Trip to Tidung Island With Instax

Do you want to adventure? But just have a little money? I suggest you to go to Tidung island. Maybe not much people knows about this island, but for people who likes adventure and backpacker it’s will be a great place.

In this island no resort or hotel. But the seas and panorama so beutifull, so it will be doesn’t matter. Sea rocks hidden beneath the blue sea can make you forget about a terrific at big city.

This island in one of group of thousand island. This island have two part, big Tidung and small Tidung. Both of them are connected by brigde. Untill now no one stay at small Tidung, whereas big Tidung island just have about 4000 peoples.

Going to this island is easy, you just should go to Muara Angke, Jakarta. For cost, don’t worry you just pay 33 thousand rupiah to go there. I recommend you to choose a departure time at 7am so you will enjoy the beauty of the Tidung island longer.

To arrived in Tidung island it takes approximately three hours. Of course this depended to waves. Just remember to bring your jacket or swater because the wind will blow up during the trip.

For inn you can choose two option, frist if you want to stay at losmen you should pay about 250-300 thousand rupiahs. But if you want the cheapest you can stay at local houses and pay about 70-100 thousand rupiahs.

What most interested in this island? Of course the panorama of seas. You can having fun with snorkling just only by rent snorkling equipment just 35 thousands rupiahs. Hmm!! It is not expensive, is it? With snorkling you can explore more beautifull panorama of sea. Because of Tidung island rarely touched many people so the beautifull sea still natural.

Can’t swim? don’t worry you can enjoying panorama of the island with ride the bycicle. For the cost you just should pay 15 thousand rupiahs.

Not just ride at big Tidung island, but small tidung island too. But to go there you must pass the bridge. You must becarefu becausel this bridge just have wide 1,5 meters and some part is broken. So, sometimes you must go down and bring your bycicle. But it will be appropriate with panorama of sea you can get. Landscape seabed with transparent blue streaks, beautiful coral reefs, occasionally we could see the fish swim course will make you fascinated.

Another interesting side of the Tidung island is forest of coconuts. Tidung island that extends not all filled with people building houses. There on the east side of the island are allowed to grow green with coconut trees. This tree dominates almost the entire island, although the sea looked too fir and almond trees.

After tired of alll you can enjoy a beautiful sunset. The more nights Tidung island more romantic atmosphere, you can enjoy the atmosphere of how to blend into the night with locals. Seeing them working hard late into the night, I think enough to cover travel on the island Tidung.
